Los Angeles Auto Insurance - 3 Auto Insurance Myths by Insurers
Auto Insurance Rates - Determined by Color of Car
Auto insurance rates increase being determined by the color of your car is a myth. This is a big mistake. There is a strongly widespreading gossip that is roaming around these days stating that auto insurance companies generally put up "color" as one of the factors in making decisions to increase the auto insurance premiums. The color of your car is totally independent on the issued amount of premium nor rates, nor quotes. Taking the color of your car into account for auto insurance premiums may sound so absurd to many and may rather turn off potential customers instead of pooling them towards your company. The truth is, that your insurance premium is based on a number of factors i am certainly knowledgeable of, including the policy holder’s age, gender, driving record, car make, car model, risks etc. This means that auto insurance companies are usually, if not totally color blind.
Auto Insurance Premiums - May Increase Depending on Parking Tickets
Auto Insurance premiums will not increase based on your parking tickets. This may in a small way affect your auto insurance renewal but not the premiums. This statement may be based on the fact that if by any chance a parking ticket is one of the basis for the increase or decrease of your auto insurance premiums, then, there would be no need to park your car anywhere in the vicinity of a more secure parking lot or parking area and this will cause both traffic and secondary streets, chaos. How do parking tickets really affect your driving record then? In some places, parking tickets will affect your ability to renew your insurance but for sure, this will not in any way affect your auto insurance premiums.
Auto Insurance - 2-Door Auto is More Expensive than 4-Doors
This myth is actually the reverse side of the fact. That 4-dors although just the ordianry, can be more expensive than 2 doors. This wrong belief might have come from the common knowledge that 2-door auto is mor expensive in both marketing costs and premiums than the 4-doors. Evn if 2-doors are mostly those that fall under the luxury and special cars like sports cars, it is the other way around. 4-doors are more expensive. Remember that this is a no drama but instead, an information i got from my everyday browsing of topics to use for my own blog about auto insurance.
